TOUR PROGRAM

Georgia distinguished for its original architecture, Christian temples and cave monasteries is becoming more and more called for and attractive destination in pilgrim tourism routes... Christian religion has played the greatest role both in the cultural life as well as arts and the traditions of Georgia which still determine the nation's present-day mode of life.    Georgia, one among the first nations who adopted Christianity, evidences its past by numerous and divine monasteries and churches, fortresses, and/or architectural monuments, all this in harmony with incomparable nature allow us to call the places "the Land of Gods".     

1 day - Departure to Tbilisi
2 day - Tbilisi city tour – National Museum – Holy Mass and Meeting with Catholic Bishop in Georgia
3 day - Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Jvari Monastery * – Svetitskhoveli Cathedral * – Samtarvo Monastery – Kutaisi **
4 day - Kutaisi – Bagrati Cathedral *– Gelati Monastery * – Ceramic market – Akhatlsikhe
5 day - Akhaltsikhe – Varzia cave monastery – Rabat Fortress – Meeting with Benedictine Sisters  6 day - Akhaltsikhe – Uplistsikhe cave city – Ananuri Fortress – Gudauri
7 day - Gudauri - Jvari Pass – Kazbegi – Gergeti Trinity Church – Tbilisi
8 day -Tbilisi – Signagi – Bodbe Monastery – Tbilisi
9 day - Departure from Tbilisi

NB. The program provides for both daily mass as well as exclusive meetings with the Episcope of the Georgian Catholic Church and other representatives of the Catholic worlds of Armenia and Georgia.
