TREKKING AND RAFTING TOUR

Day I: TBILISI
Arrival in Tbilisi; transfer from airport to the hotel, accommodation.
Day II:
TBILISI - MTSKHETA
Breakfast in hotel and city tour. The city offers a great variety of sights, most of them very ancient: Metekhi church (XIIIc.), Narikala Fortress (IV.c.) – one of the oldest fortifications in the city,Anchiskhati church (VI c.) and Sioni Church (VI-VIIc.c.). After lunchwe visit the treasuries of the Georgian State Museum (Gold Fund of Georgia). Drive to visit Mckheta- ancient capital and religious centre of Georgia with its UNESCO world Heritage sites: Jvari Monastery (VI c.) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral(XI c.). Return to Tbilisi.
Day III: TBILISI - GUDAURI
Breakfast in the hotel and drive to Gudauri; on the road visit Ananuri Fortress (XVIII c.). Arrival in Gudauri. After lunch trekking to hut “Kostini” (2650m.). Dinner and overnight in Gudauri.
Day IV:
Breakfast in the hotel and drive to vil. Mleta (o.5 h.). Trekking (6-7 hours). From Aragvi valley (1500 m.) to river Aragvi springs (2700 m.). Overnight in tents.
Day V: Trekking from “springs” to “three lakes” (3-4 hours). Here we will make a camp. The same day we walk from the Camp to Keli lake and back (2h.). Overnight in tents.
Day VI: Trekking from camp to “Kelistskali” lake (passing a few lakes on the way). Camping at the lake. Overnight in the tents.
Day VII:
Hiking over the pass (3300m.) to vil. Abano and Truso valley. Drive back to Gudauri resort (0.5 h.). Overnight in Gudauri .
Day VIII:
Trekking from Gudauri to Khada valley – valley of “1000 towers”- and back to Gudauri (5-6hours). On the evening- traditional Georgian table with Tamada (toast maker). Overnight in Gudauri hotel.
Day IX:GUDAURI - TBILISI
Breakfast in the hotel and drive to Tbilisi. On the way back from Gudauri - rafting. After rafting picnic with barbecue and return to Tbilisi. Transfer to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day X:
Transfer to the airport and departure.
In case of force major circumstances the agency reserves the right to make some necessary changes.
The luggage will be carried by horses (days 4, 6, 7).
